As a prop / model maker I love to problem solve. Every project I work on has its own set of challenges and there's always a creative solution to be found. I have a good understanding of lots of different materials and making processes which enables me to think outside of the box. When I was at university I wrote my dissertation on accessibility in the museum, largely focussing on the facilities available to visually impaired visitors. This research brought to light other accessibility needs which people in my industry definitely need to become more aware of to increase the inclusivity of their designs especially in public spaces. Growing up I played piano, guitar and ukulele and went on music exchanges through my school putting on concerts and making friends in different countries. I also occasionally played percussion in the school orchestra - but only when they were really desperate!
